Moorings Cafe Bar & Restaurant Go Live With Kopa Marketing

Moorings Cafe Bar & Restaurant (previously Moorings Bistro) in Borth-Y-Gest have gone live with their fresh new website designed in house by Kopa Marketing.

Moorings Cafe Bar & Restaurant & Kopa Marketing worked together on the new website to go along with their new restaurant name, this included a new domain.

Their new domain is https://www.mooringsborthygest.com/ - Check it out! We're really proud of this one.

It was hard not to enjoy working on this website, as we had the pleasure of seeing pictures of beautiful Borth-Y-Gest.

BeforeAfter

As you can see, we took many aspects of the Moorings old website and brought them into 2020. We simplified the home page so that customers find the information they are looking for as soon as they reach the website.
We made it much easier for customers to find the address, phone Number, opening hours, social media profiles, and more importantly the menu.

We completely transformed the menu page to make it look more appealing to the eye. Moorings can also use our built in menu builder to easily keep their menus up to date for their customers with no confusing coding/graphic design.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19, Moorings cannot take full advantage of these menus due to currently using a different menu solely for takeaway.

To deal with this, we provided Moorings with a solution, we made it clear on the website that they were takeaway only. We also displayed their new temporary takeaway menu in a popup screen for customers to be able to access. These menus also give guidance on social distancing time slots.

When we design websites we take into consideration that 60% of Google Searches are made on a mobile phone.  We made sure that Moorings Cafe bar & Restaurant's new website was fully mobile optimised. Take a look at some of the screenshots below.

We have provided Moorings with a phone icon that allows the user to call the restaurant with one touch of the finger. We also provided a sleek new menu that slides in from the left hand side.
