Investing in your business is essential if you want it to grow and prosper, but it’s also vital that you choose services that will bring you a healthy return on your investment.

Search engine optimisation, often abbreviated to SEO, is the process of getting your website to the top of relevant search engine results pages (SERPS).

Some services show ROI almost instantly, while others, like SEO, take time to show results and make an impact on your business.

At Kopa Marketing, we get asked how long SEO campaigns will take to show results a lot, so we thought that it was about time that we discussed the issue in more detail.

In our first six weeks of launching we have gone from having 0 impressions to 360 daily with 15 keywords in #1 spot in North Wales and a total of over 300 keywords being ranked for. SEO changes can take up to 3 months to fully mature into results. If we carry on with our SEO campaign we will continue to grow. Numbers are correct as of 29/06/2020.

Take a look at our blog on why on page SEO is so important and also why blog writing so important for SEO in 2020.

How Will You See The Effects That Your SEO Campaign Is Having?

When you start an SEO campaign, be it an international drive or a local SEO campaign to reach the top of searches for businesses in your area, you need to have an objective.

Once you’ve set goals, then you can start to measure the effect that your campaign is having on your website and its search rankings.

Your goals might be to rise in search results or to rank for specific keywords. Whatever your objective, you should make sure that everyone who is working on your SEO campaign understands them before you get started so that they can all work towards the same goals.

How Can You Measure Your Success?

Measuring your SEO success isn’t as simple as typing your target keywords into Google and seeing if your website appears at the top.

While you can try this, a more sophisticated and accurate way to assess your results is to use SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush and Majestic. You can use them to see where you rank for your target keywords at the beginning of the campaign, and then track your rankings throughout it.

As your campaign progresses, you should notice some changes in your rankings for your target keywords and associated keywords, provided that experienced SEO experts manage the campaign.

The Most common SEO Tips

Why Does Experience Matter?

Experience is a crucial element of any SEO campaign because, without it, your campaign might not achieve the results you expect.

That’s because experienced SEO experts know that search engines regularly update their algorithms, effectively moving the goalposts.

As such, you need to make sure that your campaign is responsive and is continually adapting to these new developments in the SEO market. By working with experienced professional SEO experts, you can use your SEO campaign to boost your website’s rankings and grow your online reach.

Overall, every SEO campaign is different, so each one will take time to show results. It depends on a variety of factors, such as the campaign objectives, the amount of time and money invested in it and other external factors such as the latest Google updates.

That said, if you work with an experienced SEO agency like ours, then you will eventually be able to see the positive benefits of your SEO campaigns.

We recommend a minimum of 3 months SEO for our clients to see the full potential of an SEO campaign.
